Jim worked as a labourer for a gas utility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. When the option came to apply for a backhoe/front-end-loader agent job, he was excited. 3 people applied. To select one who would find the job, the company asked every one of them to go out and also work on the back-hoe to get a day. Sean felt his change intended for the job disappear because he had never also driven a tractor, not to mention used a backhoe. When he went out, he did not learn how to start the tractor.
