Othello - Character Analysis

In the play Othello, the type of Othello has specific traits

which will make him seem naive and unsophisticated in comparison to many other

people. This is the reason Iago, to acquire his just benefits uses him as a

scapegoat. Iago advised Roderigo, " O,sir, articles you. I abide by him

[Othello] to serve my turn after him "(I, i lines 38-9). Iago is

saying, he only follows Othello to a spot, and after reaching it he

won't follow him any more. Iago has opened up my eyes to start to see the

real meaning of deceit. Regardless of what, Iago will attempt to take

advantage of Othello any moment and he'll be easily cause believe

the lies of Iago.
